What is Lenticularization?

Lenticularization is a process developed to minimize the thickness and weight of lenses.

The user defines an optimal region around the fitting cross (optical area); outside this region Lenticularization reduces the thickness with a gradual change in curvature, resulting in a thinner lens on the edge for minus lenses, and thinner in the centre for plus lenses.

Features and Benefits

Reduction of edge thickness for minus lenses
Reduction of central thickness for plus lenses
Thinner lenses
Available for any design (This will be a gradual roll-out, starting with certain lenses, ultimately available to all in the long-term)
Compatibility with any material and base curve
